berries

the black chokeberries now ripen fast.
i take a handful and squeeze the berries
inside my palm.
i offer him the mush.
then i lick my fingers clean.

yesterday i talked with my
friend of a macabre subject:
freezing down dead bodies.
it was +30c outside.
